Not bad, but can be improved.
First, real instruments would do a better job than default sounds from a notation program or MIDI instruments.
The arrangement has some flaws. In the bass instrument you should use the root of the chords (generally). The only exception is if you make a saxophone band arrangement and it's meant to be accompanied by a bass/ double bass/ bass guitar/ sousaphone...etc.
Also, when write unison or octaves with similar rhythm, use same rhythm, other way it will sound messy (0:16).
Cheers and I look forward to your next arrangement.
Thanks for the criticism! Although, this is made with “Musescore” and the arrangement is actually sheet music. If I were to make a better arrangement, I would use a program like garageband!
Nice. I like how detailed is the mix.
Oh soro, you always know what to say :')
I like the 9/8 groove.
Nice track.
Thanks
Nice. The bit at 02:07, where you go flat 6th, is my favorite part.
Much appreciated. I'm rather partial to that section, as well. I feel that it's a really nice lead-in for the part that circles back around to the front. The only real pity is that loops are no longer seamless here on Newgrounds.
Pretty impressive. Sounds good.
Cheers Sorohanro :)
Awesome track!
Nice song, very good performance and production. You know whom to contact if you need some trumpets, just saying ;)
Cheers sorohanro :D Super happy you liked the track, and indeed I'm happy the offer is still open! Perhaps for some brass solos stuff at some point in the future? Time will have to tell :) Thanks again and hope everything's good on your end!
Nice job on sound design. I think this could easily fit into a movie or game.
Thanks stay tuned more stuff up soon
