Not bad, but can be improved.
First, real instruments would do a better job than default sounds from a notation program or MIDI instruments.

The arrangement has some flaws. In the bass instrument you should use the root of the chords (generally). The only exception is if you make a saxophone band arrangement and it's meant to be accompanied by a bass/ double bass/ bass guitar/ sousaphone...etc.

Also, when write unison or octaves with similar rhythm, use same rhythm, other way it will sound messy (0:16).

Cheers and I look forward to your next arrangement.

Fox4567 responds:

Thanks for the criticism! Although, this is made with “Musescore” and the arrangement is actually sheet music. If I were to make a better arrangement, I would use a program like garageband!

Nice. I like how detailed is the mix.

Quarl responds:

Oh soro, you always know what to say :')

Nice track.

GameBalance responds:

Thanks

Nice. The bit at 02:07, where you go flat 6th, is my favorite part.

ChronoNomad responds:

Much appreciated. I'm rather partial to that section, as well. I feel that it's a really nice lead-in for the part that circles back around to the front. The only real pity is that loops are no longer seamless here on Newgrounds.

Pretty impressive. Sounds good.

Jabun responds:

Cheers Sorohanro :)

Nice song, very good performance and production. You know whom to contact if you need some trumpets, just saying ;)

Jabun responds:

Cheers sorohanro :D Super happy you liked the track, and indeed I'm happy the offer is still open! Perhaps for some brass solos stuff at some point in the future? Time will have to tell :) Thanks again and hope everything's good on your end!

Nice job on sound design. I think this could easily fit into a movie or game.

Soundslave responds:

Thanks stay tuned more stuff up soon

Nice. I like the contrast between the "wintry" instruments and the groove.

BenTibbetts responds:

Thanks! Me too, I like how this one came out. Glad you enjoyed it.

Nice to see a normal chord progression, some structure that doesn't repeat same 4 chords, some development. At 00:10 I would go with a different chord; e, g#, b, d is a E7 which clashes with that c# in the melody, instead I would go with same chord f#, a, c#, move the bass to e (so it would be a F#min/E or F#min7 with the 7th in the bass as a transition note to D maj, next chord). This way you would have a common note in the melody and chord, create a feeling of stability by having same chord and creating a tension with the 7th, just enough to propel you to the next chord.
Anyway, love the 80s, early 90s feel.

ScottJacob responds:

Wow this is great feedback thank you. I think i understand what you're saying, though my music theory could definitely use some improvement. Regardless i am very grateful for this, i will consider this moving forward in my practicing. Take care!
