Nice track. In some places it sounds like that sax solo was looped/ sampled from somewhere, but generally speaking, nice track.
Could use some effects on the sax, it's a bit dry and doesn't fit "in the same room" with the other instruments. Try some slap-back delay or a pinch of reverb.

In some parts that brass plugin sounds so cheesy, but hey, it's free.
The combination between the pretty standard chord progression and the bebop-ish part at 0:58 makes it to stand out. Could have some soloing, real or vst instrument.

Didn't see your review until now, but thanks. Don't really get what you mean by "Could have some soloing, real or vst instrument", but I'm glad you liked the track. Sadly, i don't have any solution to the cheesiness of the plugin, other than actually having a brass band play it, which isn't really a possibility.

You know what? That's a cool track! Love the groove and the rhythm trick you did at 01:02. Could use some more variation after 01:41, but again, nice groove going there.

Glad you liked it. I didn't mean to write stuck, I meant sick. I wrote on my phone, and I wrote with the touch keyboard thing where you make smooth movements instead of pressing every single letter. I accidently pressed 2,5 star, when I would actually have given it a 4 star rating. I realized this as I had already passed submit. I guess newgrounds isn't optimizes for phones. Especially not when you're on the desktop version (which I was) on mobile.

Thank you, that really means a lot to me! The original piece is very well-written; the main challenge was figuring out how to approach 1:18 since that section is rather pianistic. Luckily the woodwinds are very adept with rhythmic figures, which made that solution turn out better than I had hoped!
